Project Description
Since March 2020, EduMate NYC has connected volunteer tutors with over 3,800 NYC public school students. Our program focuses on supporting students who are from low-income backgrounds, are immigrants or refugees, have disabilities, or are experiencing homelessness.
We are seeking college and graduate students (or recent graduates) to tutor for 1 hour per week through the end of the semester.
Tutors receive a brief training video and academic resources to support their work. Tutors also have access to the EduMate NYC tutor network, which includes 2,700+ volunteers from around the world.
