AmeriCorps and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention joined forces to launch Public Health AmeriCorps and support the recruitment, training, and development of the next generation of public health leaders who will be ready to respond to the nation’s public health needs.
We have multiple positions available with partners such as Rural Health Network, the Food and Health Network, United Way, CHOW, and many more. All positions are either 900 total hours of service (20-25 hours/week from September - June/July) or 1200 hours of service (30-35 hours/week from September - June/July).
