Project Description

Truth Pharm, Inc. is a national advocacy 501c3 non-profit organization. Truth Pharm is working to raise awareness and reduce the stigma associated with substance use disorders, and advocating for policy change to improve treatment options. Truth Pharm is looking for a marketing/social media intern to assist with the organization's social media management starting immediately. The internship will be reevaluated after 30 days and preferably would be renewed through the end of the Fall semester. This decision will be based on performance and dedication to their work. This internship offers a stipend for payment with contract, with the possibility of receiving academic credit.

Responsibilities:
- Work hand in hand with Truth Pharm staff.
- Assist in creating captivating content for our social media to engage with our local community online.
- Assist in designing material to advertise and promote various support services and events.
Possibly:
- potentially recruit and lead a group of student volunteers in social media engagement tasks and activities.
- Schedule student volunteers to engage with social media with a focus on peak engagement hours.
- Track social media engagement analytics to identify peak engagement hours and high-performing content ideas and campaigns for scalability.

Other Requirements:

Requirements: Basic knowledge of working within Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. Familiarity with other platforms is a plus. Basic knowledge of working within Google Docs, Sheets and Drive. Must be able to commit 5 hours of work per week. Provide links to 1-3 social networking profiles or examples of past work to demonstrate interest and knowledge. Must be a self starter and take initiative. But also must have good collaborative skills and remain in constant communication with our staff. Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, MIS, Computer Science, or similar field.
