Project Description
Want to help our older community members in need? Faith in Action, within the Broome County Council of Churches, is currently seeking volunteers to help aging individuals within the Broome County community.

Volunteer responsibilities would include driving individuals to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands. Volunteer drivers will typically need 2 hours per ride to take the individual to their destination and then to take them home. A vehicle and a valid driver's license are required.
Faith in Action does not expect volunteers to complete a certain number of hours per week. Most rides are scheduled only during the week, with few exceptions for weekend rides. Any number of rides volunteers can provide each month is appreciated, especially by our older community members in need! If interested, feel free to contact us for more information!
