Project Description
Want to help our older community members in need? Faith in Action, within the Broome County Council of Churches, is currently seeking volunteers to help aging individuals within the Broome County community.

Have you ever tried to carry your recycling bin while using a cane or walker? Here's a chance to help a person over 60 who needs a hand performing routine chores. Volunteers can help participants in their homes with dusting, changing the beds, taking out the trash, vacuuming, and doing in-home laundry. This usually takes 1-2 hours, once or twice a month, but may be more flexible. A car and a valid driver's license is recommended. If interested, feel free to contact us for more information!
