The Junior Board was formed to reach a younger population that will engage in the mission of the Friends of Salt Springs and gain professional experience in event planning and collaboration. The group only meets 1-2 times per month and the days listed are possible days during the week that the group may meet to:
• Help plan events for the park
• Work as a part of a team
• Volunteer for events at the park
• Participate in a variety of committees
• Outreach
• Teach

Believe in the mission of the Friends of Salt Springs Park and The Junior Board of Directors; Have a desire to promote environmental education; Attend one meeting every month for the months of the year that the Junior Board is meeting; Participate in one committee of the Junior Board: Marketing, Finance, or Education; Volunteer and support events at the Park; Recruit and encourage others to join the Junior Board
