Project Description

Seedy Saturday is a great opportunity for volunteering by weeding, planting, and mulching the VPL Reading Garden with help from the Vestal Highschool Interact Club. With plenty of garden space, VPL is incredibly grateful for any and all help getting our garden ready for the upcoming season.

In addition to gardening help, we will have a perennial, annual, seed & seedling swap and the spring opening of the seed library. Kids can also participate by helping in the garden or enjoy outdoor games and activities like bubbles, jump ropes, hula hoops, and more!

Volunteers must not have mobility restrictions and must sign a liability waiver before they can being a gardening project. Waivers can be filled out and brought to Vestal Public Library on the day of the event.
