Project Description
The Multicultural Resource Center (MRC) invites faculty, staff, and students with multilingual skills to join its Translation and Interpretation Program (TIP). As Binghamton University experiences rapid growth in international students, MRC TIP is looking for volunteers who can demonstrate high proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in multiple languages to serve as volunteer interpreters and translators. The program's goal is to provide well-prepared faculty, staff, and student volunteer interpreters and translators to bridge the language and cultural gaps for students and their families as well as to serve the Greater Binghamton community.
