BINGHAMTON, NY – Harrison Xinshi Tu, artist, author, and Binghamton University alumnus, will present a Chinese calligraphy demonstration from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, in the Binghamton University Art Museum. Tu’s calligraphy is currently on exhibit at the museum until Wednesday, Oct. 31. Both the presentation and the exhibit are free and open to the public.

Tu is the president of Rocky Mountain Area Chinese Calligraphy Association and honorary chair of the ChineseJapaneseKorean Calligrapher & Painter's Coalition. He is the author of two art books, The Wisdom and Art of Chinese Calligraphy and A Calligrapher's Yi Jing. Tu is a visiting professor at the Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado and the director of the Confucius Classroom in Denver.
