Biography

Tristan Sharratt is a clinician, researcher and public health practitioner from Otsego County, N.Y. He joined Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences in fall 2025 as a clinical lecturer for the Division of Nursing and also teaches in the graduate public health program.

Sharratt's diverse clinical background has focused on rural community-based care in Central New York, including: 

• Correctional healthcare
• School nursing
• Inpatient psychiatry
• Rural family practice
• Gender wellness care
• Free clinic practice
• Rural home visiting

As a public health practitioner, Sharratt has focused on the population equivalents of the experiences above at the New York State Department of Health and local health departments throughout the state.
