Miroslav Goljan received his PhD degree in 2002 from the Electrical Engineering Department at the State University of New York at Binghamton. Since then, he has been affiliated with the Research Foundation for SUNY working as a Research Scientist. He has developed now the well known and established forensic method for digital camera identification based on "sensor fingerprint." He is a co-author of the most cited pioneering work on this topic (2006) and has been a leading expert in this area since, having five U.S. Patents awarded. His publications with a strong citation record (over 12,000 citations) also cover the field of steganography and steganalysis.
