Background

Robert Holahan is an associate professor of environmental studies and political science. His primary area of research investigates environmental policy from a political-economic and institutional analysis perspective. His current research projects include developing a property-rights framework for the study of unconventional oil and gas production, an investigation into the public goods (or public bads) nature of global environmental threats, and the political-economy of urban sustainability. Holahan's work has appeared in Science, Ecological Economics, Energy Policy, and Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, among others.
