Kaschak Institute to promote equality for women
Gift supports establishment of an institute for social justice for women and girls

Ellyn Uram Kaschak ’65 made a generous gift to support the establishment of the Ellyn Uram Kaschak Institute for Social Justice for Women and Girls. The program will support research, scholarship, teaching and engagement to promote equality for women and girls, domestically and globally.
Her recent support is in addition to her gift in 2015 to create the Dr. Ellyn Uram Kaschak Summer Research Grant to benefit Harpur College undergraduate students seeking to conduct research in the field of social justice for women and girls.
