As we inch closer to Thanksgiving break, we’re grateful for the enjoyable moments students have shared and the connections they’ve formed since August. And, of course, we’re looking forward to the memories still to be made before winter break!

Even though it’s late in the semester, countless involvement opportunities still await students looking to make new friends and explore different interests outside the classroom. Using B-Engaged, students can find many clubs, organizations and teams accepting members on a rolling basis.

Is creating charcuterie or cheese boards up your student’s alley? The Cheese Club may be the place for them. Any avid readers out there? The Binghamton Bookworms is open to newbies, at any point in the semester! Students can also fill out the registration forms at any time to play on a Club Sports team and easily register for Intramural teams too.

Beyond joining groups, there’s a wide range of student programming happening the rest of the semester. Students can discover events, from now through winter break, on B-Engaged, in the daily B-Line Events emails and the University’s “This Week at Bing” series, premiering on Instagram every Monday. Also be sure to check out Stress-free Bing for a calendar of stress-reducing activities and events available through the end of the semester.
