Binghamton University’s graduate business program ranks among the top 100 in the nation

School of Management's Master of Business Administration program makes top 100 in prestigious U.S. News & World Report ranking

Binghamton University’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) ranks as one of the nation’s top 100 graduate business programs.

This was the first year the STEM-certified MBA program, housed in the University’s School of Management (SOM), made the top 100 list in U.S. News & World Report’s prestigious 2024 best graduate schools rankings, released April 9.

“Everyone in our SOM family shares in this success as our exceptional school moves up in these prominent rankings,” said SOM Dean Shelley Dionne. “Not only does this further demonstrate how we are providing a place for our students to grow while receiving a world-class education for incredible value, but it reflects our dedication to helping them find success by leading them to distinctive careers in some of the world’s most innovative companies.”

SOM’s MBA program jumped from number 104 to number 90 in the 2024 U.S. News ranking.

Each year, U.S. News ranks graduate programs based on business, education, law, nursing and other fields; more than 80 programs were ranked this year. Rankings are based on statistical surveys of programs and reputation surveys sent to academics and professionals.

Consistently ranked among the best public business schools in the country, Binghamton was ranked by Poets and Quants in the top 10 fully public business schools for a third consecutive year in January.

Last year, SOM gained further recognition from the Wall Street Journal by ranking among the nation’s best public schools for graduates who earn high-paying salaries in accounting, finance and marketing.
