September engagement highlight: Student Association
The start of a new school year is defined by exciting student experiences: diving into course materials, creating and navigating daily schedules, making new friends, and of course, joining extra-curricular clubs!
One of the best and easiest ways students can get involved with clubs and organizations on campus is through the Student Association (SA). The SA is the undergraduate student governing body, overseeing more than 290 undergraduate clubs and organizations. With interest clubs, performance groups, cultural organizations, service clubs, religious groups, governing councils and more, the SA has something for everyone.
While each club has its own student-run executive board and member body, students can also join the Student Association government, allowing them to collaborate with campus administration to make decisions that impact the student body, gain hands-on leadership experience managing student staff, and more.
Students are sure to find SA groups bonding over their hobbies, interests and passions. And if they don’t? They can just create their own club!
B-Engaged: helping students find where they belong at Bing
Using B-Engaged, or with the B-Engaged app, called CampusGroups, students can easily connect with almost 300 SA clubs, register for upcoming events, contact group officers and more.
