SSHP will host this residency panel event. PGY-1 and PGY-2 residents from UHS, Guthrie and SUNY Upstate will be in attendance. The event will begin with a question session for the panel of current residents. "Speed dating" will follow, allowing students to ask more specific questions of the panel residents in a smaller group setting. Our goal is to give students the time to familiarize themselves with what a residency is, the different paths a residency may take and how to prepare for a residency. Students may sign up via https://proxy.qualtrics.com/proxy/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.signupgenius.com%2Fgo%2F70A044EADA72AA6FC1-residency&token=8aQ%2F0%2FcB5mN%2FJABY2EM949I6LFx%2FvWHULo3aGkmcmZI%3D

First annual Pharmacotherapy Update Symposium put on by NYSCHP-ST and Guthrie Health System. Four of our faculty are speakers: Sarah Spinler, Bennett Doughty, Emily Leppien and Willie Eggleston. The cost to attend this event is $10, which covers the entire day. In order for students to obtain co-curricular credit, they must be present from at least 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; however, students are encouraged to stay for the full day. It's a long day, but it a great opportunity to network with local pharmacists, residents and faculty.
