Directions

  • Where is Science II ?

Science II is located on the Vestal Campus and can be reached by driving on the west Drive. There are three major towers of the Binghamton University (Library Tower is the tallest and the next taller is the Science II with 8 tower floors and two additional floors and the next in height is the Couper Administration Building with similar number of floors) visible from the major highway (Route 17/ Future Interstate 86) as well on Route 201.

Here is a Google map view of Science 2. Please note that (a) the GPS coordinates are as accurate as possible (b) but the address on the left side is not correct, so ignore it. (c) However, you should feel free to click on the 'View Photos' feature to get a 'panoramic' picture of the Science II building.

  • Where is Department of Physics office?

Physics Department office is in the second floor (2E) of the Smart Energy Building, room number 2202. Physics instructional labs are in Science II annex leading to Science Library while personnel offices and research labs are in the annex as well as the tower and in Smart Energy Building. Here is a Google map view of Science 2.

Smart Energy Building is a brand new building and is physically well separated from the main campus. Further information will be provided when available.
