Hello, and thank you for visiting these web pages. My office is charged with coordinating cross-divisional efforts to ensure compliance with the statutory and regulatory requirements of Title IX, Clery and VAWA. To do this, I work collaboratively with many of the offices listed on the Resource offices page and discuss the development of documents sent to reporting individuals, training for students and employees, and the overall preventative and responsive efforts of the University. With input from other offices, I am responsible for determining if the University will move forward with an investigation into a reported incident with, or without, the consent of the reporting individual.
My office is one at which individuals can disclose that they have knowledge of, or were the victim of: sexual harassment, sexual assault, rape, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking or any other event which would fall under Title IX or VAWA, on or off campus. I serve as a private resource and assist individuals with understanding different opportunities and reporting options they have, and the different responses and outcomes they may expect from those options. I can assist with contacting resources both on and off campus. Further, I can also answer questions about University processes if individuals feel they are being treated unjustly by those processes, or if they feel those processes are not meeting the University's legal obligations.
I encourage all individuals wanting to know more about Title IX, Clery and/or VAWA, or wishing to report an incident, to contact me at email@example.com, 607-777-2486 or at my office in the Couper Administration Building room 217 (on the second floor to the right of the elevators.) If individuals wish to discuss something without revealing their identity they may call my office from a non-identifiable phone and I am happy to speak to them.
