Romance Languages and Literatures

Background

A Binghamton University alumna, Alexandra Lee considers Urbino, Italy, her second home. Stories from her experiences abroad are one of many tools she employs in her language courses to motivate and inspire students to pursue a foreign language. Lee teaches a variety of Italian courses, but primarily covers elementary language both at a regular and accelerated pace. She has been teaching at Binghamton since 2014 and is a part of various department committees. Currently, she is working alongside colleague Rachel Samiani to create a department textbook and an online platform for the Italian program.
