James Agbo

Background


Prior to joining Binghamton University, James Kofi Agbo was a lecturer at the University of Ghana, where he taught undergraduate and graduate courses such as business French, formal written expression in French, teaching French as a foreign language, French for specific purposes, and fundamentals in didactics and language acquisition. He has also supervised student research on discourse analysis, psycholinguistics and didactics.

He has also taught French at Ho Technical University (HTU), the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA), Accra, and the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS), Ho. 

Agbo is a member of the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG), Ghana Association of French Teachers (GAFT) and Linguistics Association of Ghana (LAG). He has a C2 in French and has Knowledge of CECRL; he also speaks English and Ewe. He is a faculty advisor for French minors and majors.
