waiting list

How does the wait list work?

Here at Campus Pre-school, we are dedicated to providing educational experiences and developmentally appropriate, affordable high quality care for young children in a safe, nurturing and enriching environment, all while contributing to the well-being of individuals and families associated with Binghamton University and the surrounding community. All parents/legal guardians interested in enrolling their child(ren) in Campus Pre-School are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible for our waiting list, as we have a large number of applicants and a limited availability of spots for new students.

Our school year begins at the end of August and ends in late June. Our summer session is a five week program and begins the 2nd week of July and ends the 2nd week of August. If there is any availability in our summer session, we offer admission to children that are on the waiting list that are over three years old. Summer session admission does not guarantee admission for that subsequent school year.

Selection

As openings become available, enrollment is drawn from the waiting list in order of priority entries. You will be notified and sent enrollment information if your child is selected from the waiting list for enrollment.

Please note: children may be placed on the waiting list any time after birth. Any submissions containing a "due date" will not be accepted. The number and names of families on our waiting list is confidential information.

Application

To add your child to our wait list, complete the following steps. First, please click on the link below where you will be redirected to the MyProcare website.

Waiting list application

There you will answer some questions for the application. Once completed and sent, you will then receive a confirmation e-mail that your application has been submitted.

At that point, your application will be “accepted pending payment”.  You will then be emailed instructions to return to your MyProcare account to complete the application process. There is a non-refundable application fee of $25.00 if you are a current student or enrolled family and a non-refundable $35.00 fee for all other affiliations. Please allow one to three business days to receive your “accepted pending payment” notification email.

Enrollment priority

Children of currently enrolled families will receive first priority. Within the student category, matriculated students and non-matriculated students registered for at least 9-credit hours have a priority over non-matriculated students with fewer than 9-credit hours.

Children on waiting list are contacted in the following order:
