
Background
Han Jia is a research assistant professor of marketing at Binghamton University’s School of Management. She received her PhD in advertising from the University of Alabama in 2017. She also holds a master’s degree in marketing from the University of Alabama.
Jia’s research interests include online consumer behavior, eWOM, luxury brand consumption, and environmental attitudes toward consumption. She has published multiple academic works including journal articles, conference papers, and a book chapter. She is also a member of the American Marketing Association (AMA), the American Academy of Advertising (AAA), and the Society for Consumer Psychology (SCP).
Jia has taught courses in marketing analysis, principles of social media, and consumer behavior. At Binghamton University, she teaches Introduction of Marketing and Advertising. She also has experience in advising graduate students.
