About the real-time trading room
The Binghamton University Zurack Trading Room and Investment Fund is home to 12 Bloomberg terminals, which give undergraduate and graduate business students access to a variety of financial data and allow them to do real-time investment trading/portfolio management.
The facility provides an experiential learning space for several student groups including the Finance Society, BU Investment Fund, and quantitative finance/finance programs of the School of Management with majors from Harpur College and Watson College.
The trading facility and Bloomberg Terminals help prepare students for positions in the investment banking industry by enhancing their spreadsheet modeling, IT software, analytical and financial reporting skills.
