Stepping into Connection

 If you're having a difficult time finding yourself on campus, or engaging with others, come spend time learning how to find ways to connect with others around you, but also find connection within yourself.

Stepping into connection is a strengths-based and person-centered informational peer support group to help students learn through education and hands-on activities to find connections within the University. Students will practice and engage in strategies that help combat loneliness and low self esteem and build skills to reach out to others. 

Themes:

Week 1: Not all who are alone are lonely, not all who are lonely are alone
Week 2: Recognizing and acknowledging our feelings 
Week 3: Finding yourself and finding others

*This three-week program is open to all residents, and students can attend any of the meetings that work best for their schedule.
