Digital Communication and Media Focus

As economic and social interaction increasingly moves online, new careers in digital communications and media are rapidly emerging. This track is focused on preparing students for careers in areas such as social media management, marketing, public relations and other fields. Students gain a wide range of skills, including social media or communications theory, digital media production, and marketing and analytics.

This focus pairs well with the core skills from majors in the School of the Arts or English. Students interested in PR, marketing or activism from programs such as Global Public Health, Environmental Studies or Economics may also find this track of interest.
