Organization Overview
The Binghamton University Interprofessional Education Consortium (BIPEC) is a student-led organization committed to amplifying learner voices in support of interprofessional education (IPE) efforts. Founded by student leaders from across campus, BIPEC fosters interdisciplinary collaboration and professional development to benefit the university, the local community, and beyond. Guided by the IPEC Core Competencies, BIPEC aspires to cultivate future interprofessional leaders by promoting a culture of ethics, communication, and teamwork.

Vision
The Binghamton University Interprofessional Education Consortium will be a leading voice in developing interprofessional leaders, fostering a collaborative environment that values ethics, communication, teamwork, and works to uphold the shared roles outlined by the IPEC Core Competencies.
Executive Board Members
President: Mary Hu, Public Health
Description: Serves as the chief executive and spokesperson of BIPEC, overseeing meetings, representation,
and organizational leadership.
Vice President: Mariya Khan, Pharmacy
Description: Assists the President, presides in their absence, and ensures continuity of leadership
and support for BIPEC’s operations.
Secretary: Kajol Mehta, Public Health
Description: Handles agendas, meeting minutes, communications, and administrative coordination
for BIPEC.
Media Specialist: Mariya Khan, Pharmacy
Description: Manages BIPEC’s social media, branding, promotional materials, and supports event
outreach.
Event Coordinator: Stuti Dave, Pharmacy
Description: Plans, organizes, and executes BIPEC events, managing logistics and collaboration
to foster engagement.
Treasurer: TBD
Description: Oversees BIPEC’s budget and financial records, ensuring compliance with GSO policies
and fiscal responsibility.
Senator: TBD
Description: Attends GSO meetings on the behalf of BIPEC, votes in favor of BIPEC at GSO meetings,
and is the spokesperson of BIPEC at GSO meetings.
