Binghamton University has always been part of my story. Growing up nearby, I watched
it grow from a small, promising school into the world-class university it is today.
As a teenager, I’d come to campus to play basketball in the West Gym, quietly imagining
what it would feel like to belong here. I remember thinking, “One day, I’ll be a student
at Binghamton.”
That dream came true—and it exceeded every expectation. My time here as a history
and philosophy major shaped who I am today. Years later, watching both of my sons
graduate from Binghamton made that connection even more meaningful.
This university isn’t just a place to learn—it’s a place to grow, to belong, and to build a future. The best way to understand that is to experience it yourself. Come visit us. We’d love to share it with you.
