Museum-Based Programs
We welcome individuals and groups to join us for guided tours, school-day field trips, events and more. Guided Tours: current exhibition tours typically take place during the week and vary in length. Tours may be general in nature – visiting the Main, Mezzanine and Lower Galleries, followed by a Q&A with a museum staff member. Alternatively, tours may focus on a particular theme or exhibition, which may be led by the museum curator or director.
Off-Site programs
We currently offer several off-site cultural encounters that connect local schools with BUAM staff for classroom-based art explorations. Traveling works include a replica Two-Row Wampum, a relief sculpture by artist Ed Wilson, “Memorabilia” by Jacob Lawrence, and others by special request.
Booking a program requires at least two weeks notice. To request an off-site program, please contact Amanda Lynn, Coordinator of Education and Public Programs at alynn1@binghamton.edu or 607-777-2634
