The ice skating rink is coming back! It will be open starting Jan. 14 through Feb. 27 from noon to 9 p.m. every day located at Dickinson Co-Rec Field and the Starbuck's Truck will conveniently be parked nearby! Find more information here.

FILM: SUMMER OF SOUL (...OR, WHEN THE REVOLUTION COULD NOT BE TELEVISED) In 1969, the same summer as Woodstock, a massive music festival featuring many of the same artists was held in Harlem. Like Woodstock, it was all filmed. But no one has ever seen it--until now. This award-winning celebration of Black music, culture, and history features electrifying performances and insightful commentary by Stevie Wonder, Sly and the Family Stone, Gladys Knight & the Pips, Nina Simone, and many more. Come see what it's all about! All students are welcome.

The Transfer Cafe is an opportunity for all transfer students (new and returning) to come together and socialize and enjoy some coffee/tea/hot cocoa and snacks. The kick-off event will have a small program led by Dr. Kelli Smith, Assistant Vice President of Student Success on "Top Tips for Success". We will also have representatives from Tau Sigma, National Transfer Honor Society, Binghamton Transfer Student Association (BTSA), Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development, Off Campus Programs and Services, and Transfer Student Services!

Calling all musicians and music lovers: come to the first Mountainview Jam/open mic of the Spring semester, up in the APP dining hall! There will be a full band setup, with mics, PA speakers, full drum kit, an electric guitar and amp, an acoustic guitar, a bass guitar, lights, and cables to plug in additional instruments. We will have disposable mic covers on hand. All levels and all styles welcome, including singers with or without backing tracks, and poets as well. Perform by yourself, with a friend, or with the house band, Dr. Dana & the Jam Dept, or just come out to listen and support your fellow students. This is open to all, so feel free to invite your friends from other communities. (Faculty and staff are also welcome.) Let's rock! Signups as well as a mini-concert by the Jam Dept beginning at 5pm, open mic/open jam starting at 5:30pm.
