Nutrition advising

Seeking information on getting a nutritious, adequate and balanced diet? Have questions about navigating the dining hall options? Make an appointment with Alexa Schmidt, registered dietitian with Binghamton University Dining Services.

Nutrition advising is offered free of charge to current students, faculty and staff! Email alexa.schmidt@sodexo.com to set up your consultation appointment.

Typical topics for sessions include balanced eating strategies on and off-campus, eating to optimize academic and athletic performance, gastrointestinal issues and many more. Sessions are highly individual and can be tailored to work around dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.), demanding schedules, and preferences, whether living on or off campus.
