Binghamton University joins a group of 394 colleges and universities recognized in completing these four actions:

"Binghamton University is honored to be recognized as a Most Engaged Campus for College Student Voting,” said Alison Handy Twang, interim director at the Center for Civic Engagement. “Binghamton has made institutionalization of voter engagement strategies a priority, integrating nonpartisan voter outreach into orientation, residential life, academic courses and more. By providing information and support to help students register to vote, learn what's on the ballot and turn out to vote, Binghamton has seen regular increases in student voter turnout. We look forward to continuing this important work to ensure all students can make their voices heard."

The ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge empowers colleges and universities to achieve excellence in nonpartisan student democratic engagement. Campuses that join the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge complete a set of action items, with the support of ALL IN Challenge staff, to institutionalize nonpartisan civic learning, political engagement, and voter participation on their campus. The ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge currently engages over 9 million students from more than 950 institutions in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
