Project Description
Love Grows by Giving helps the homeless by collecting toiletries, and sewing sleeping bags, fleece blankets, and grocery bags. We use bedspreads, blankets, and sheets to sew sleeping and toiletry bags and used t-shirts to make grocery bags. If you don’t have sewing experience, we can teach you. Using a sewing machine is as easy as tying a shoe! Alternatively, you may contribute by donating the following supplies and items:

Sleeping bag and blanket supplies: fabric of any kind, flannel or fleece sheets, bedspreads (new or used), blankets (new or used), electric blankets, sheets (new or used)

Grocery bag supplies: t-shirts (new or used)

Toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, lotion, combs, dental floss, toothpaste, toothbrushes, washcloths, hand towels, tissues, deodorant, soap, bandaids, notepads, and pens. Toiletry bags are made from scrap fabric and placed inside each sleeping bag that is handed out.
