Biography
Sofia Theodore-Pierce is an artist and filmmaker. Her nonfiction films balance choreographed engagement with personal archives and unruly home movie aesthetics to explore the landscapes, bodies, and social structures we inhabit.
Her work has been exhibited at festivals and venues such as the Maysles Documentary Center, Wexner Center for the Arts, Irish Film Institute, Light Industry, Athens Film & Video, Prismatic Ground, Winnipeg Underground, 25 FPS and Courtisane Festival, Belgium.
