I actually recorded this one today, and I think it turned out really great, so I opted to replace one of my other recordings with this. This recording is pretty unique and unlike most of my other ones, there are the sounds of dripping water of course, but my favorite parts are at the very end and very beginning of this one minute segment, when you can hear a clump of snow fall to the ground from a branch.

The rain coming down halfway through this one minute clip was hitting the leaves in the trees above us, but never really came down to the ground while I was recording. I went out with my friend Rachel that night, we had a lot of fun traipsing through the dark nature preserve together. This is probably my favorite sound I’ve ever recorded.
