Background

Denise Romano joined Binghamton University's Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences in September 2023 as an assistant professor in the Division of Physical Therapy. She brings 25 years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy in the Binghamton area and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS).

Romano previously served as a graduate assistant for two years in Decker College's Innovative Simulation and Practice Center, while earning a doctorate in education. She is a certified healthcare simulation educator (CHSE).
