Background

Jen DeGregorio’s first full-length poetry collection, What to Wear Out, is forthcoming from Get Fresh Books in 2025. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in The American Poetry Review, Paterson Literary Review, Prairie Schooner, Spoon River Poetry Review, Rattle, Third Coast, WSQ (Women’s Studies Quarterly) and elsewhere. Her journalism, essays and book reviews have appeared in Literary Hub, Poets & Writers Magazine, Salon, The Smart Set and elsewhere. A former senior editor at Poets & Writers, she has also worked as a full-time newspaper reporter, last at The Times-Picayune in New Orleans.
