Geography

Background

Jay Newberry is an assistant professor of geography. His research focuses on urban social geography and the study of social and spatial dimensions of city life. He is currently examining the ways in which urban society is organized geographically, particularly within the content of refugee populations. He also teaches courses in Urban Geography, Race and Place, and Urban and Regional Planning.
