A Gift to the ICD Represents an Opportunity

Gifts and donations allow ICD to enhance programs for children, families, and our communities, to advance exemplary training of students and professionals, and to innovate and explore new ideas to improve the quality of life of individuals with ASD.

Recent donations and gifts have allowed us to:

  • Provide highly specialized training to undergraduate students to increase their competitiveness in the workplace post-graduation.
  • Assist BU students to attend a regional conferences at no cost (NYSABA).
  • Support a new gymnasium for preschool and elementary school children.

How to make a donation: 

If you would like to make a gift or donation to ICD, there are only a few simple steps to follow. Currently, we can accept a check or a credit card payment and or payroll deduction from faculty and staff at Binghamton University.

For a check donation:

Please make check payable to the "Institute for Child Development" and mail to:

For a credit card donation:

Please follow the below steps:

1. We’ve provided a direct link below, Make A Gift to ICD,  to the website where you will submit your information using a secure form. You'll be directed to make your donation through the Binghamton University Foundation’s website.


2. In order for your gift to be directed to ICD, it is imperative that the Institute for Child Development is listed in the Selected Designation section. 


3. An automatic confirmation of your gift will be sent to the e-mail address that you provide on the secure form, and a receipt for tax purposes will follow in the mail. 
For Payroll Deduction:  Faculty and staff at Binghamton University have the oppurtunity to easily give via payroll deduction. Please fill out and submit this form and submit to the Binghamton University Foundation: Binghamton University Foundation Payroll Deduction Authorization  Please be sure to indicate on the form that you would like your donation to go towards the Institute for Child Development next to the "Other" option.
