The Institute for Child Development (ICD) provides an array of exemplary programs, resources, outreach and training to Binghamton University and the greater community related to Autism.
We firmly believe that we are a reflection of our community and honor the diversity of the children and adolescents, and their families, who receive our services as well as the unique contributions of our many staff, trainees, and volunteers over the years.
Our Mission: To improve quality of life for autistic and neurodivergent individuals, their families, and communities through excellence in the provision of high-quality, person-centered, evidence-based and innovative practice, education and research.
We invite you to learn more about ICD and its many programs. For half a century, our focus continues to be one that is responsive to community needs, innovative and collaborative in our approach to solutions, and valuing community-informed practice and research. As we begin to celebrate our 50th year of service, we extend a warm thank you to our community for your longstanding partnerships and collaborations in serving youth and their families.
