- supporting documentation (syllabus for transfers; catalog description; relevant emails/screenshots)
Where To Submit (What Forms To Use)

Exceptions Are Rarely Granted
Requests for exceptions to published requirements (for example, prerequisite overrides or requirement substitutions) are very rarely approved. In most cases, the answer will be no.
The main exception that is sometimes approved is pre-registration for a course when you will complete the prerequisite during the upcoming summer or winter session (and can provide a concrete plan, such as the course/institution and term).
If you are considering an exception request, please review the guidance on the Current Students Hub first and include complete documentation. Incomplete requests will not be reviewed.
Typical Turnaround
Many requests can be handled quickly, but time varies by volume and documentation. If your request affects registration, submit early.
