The Pre-Law Advising Office is located in Old Champlain Hall, Room 110, and shares space with the Harpur Academic Advising Office. The front desk is open during the following times:
Monday - Friday | 9:30 am - 4:30 pm (academic year)
Monday - Friday | 9:30 am - 4:00 pm (summer & winter break)
If you would like to schedule an appointment with the pre-law advisor, please either stop by the front desk in Old Champlain Hall, Room 110, or call (607) 777-6305 during normal business hours. Appointments are thirty minutes long. If you are unable to make a scheduled appointment, please contact the office as soon as possible to allow another student to take your place.
Please note: Starfish does not display the pre-law advisor's schedule correctly and so should not be used to schedule appointments.
If there are any documents or application materials that you would like for the pre-law advisor to review, please send them by email 24 hours before your appointment.
The pre-law advisor is also available throughout the week for walk-in appointments, which are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. These meetings are meant for shorter conversations and are typically fifteen minutes long.

- Tuesdays, 10 am - 12 pm
- Wednesdays, 1 pm - 4 pm
Mailing List and Pre-Law Area of Interest:
The Pre-Law Office regularly sends out information about upcoming events on campus and opportunities for pre-law students. If you would like to be added to the office's email mailing list, please use this form. This form will also allow you to declare pre-law as a "pre-professional area of interest." This in no way restricts your choice of major or imposes additional degree requirements, nor does it commit you to attending law school. It is simply assists the Pre-Law Office in collecting data related to pre-law at Binghamton.
