Invitations for fall 2024:
Entry into the Binghamton University Scholars Program is by invitation only and no supplemental application materials are required. All Binghamton University applicants are screened for admission. Invitations to the Scholars Program are typically released February through April.
Please note that the Scholars Program is very small, and only 110-130 of the 50,000+ applicants to Binghamton University are enrolled in the program each year.
Mapping the Soundscapes
In Fall of 2022 the Mapping the Soundscape Scholars class began creating a sound archive, recording hours of material every week within Binghamton University's 182 acre nature preserve.
Since 1991, the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation has sponsored the Beckman Scholars Program, a 15-month mentored research experience for undergraduate students in chemistry, biological sciences, biochemistry, biomedical engineering or integrative neuroscience.
