Have a baby between 6–12 months old?
Earn $250 & help us learn how moms’ and babies’ moods affect each other over time

What is the Study About?
Around 6 months of age, babies can start telling the difference between different facial expressions of emotion. So, instead of just responding when they see mom’s face, they start responding differently if mom looks happy or sad or excited or tired. But we really don’t know how this ability develops.
We’re also interested in how moms’ and babies’ moods influence each other over time. Lots of research has looked at how moms impact their babies, but we know that how our baby responds to us impacts us too. We want to understand all of this.
We’re recruiting moms of 6-12 month olds and asking them to help with a study that involves appointments every 3 months for a year. Babies change really fast, so this lets us see how that change happens.
