Housing Information for Returning Binghamton University Students
The 2026-27 Returning Student Housing process has concluded. Returning students who did not select a room in this process (including those who were not eligible to participate) and are still looking to live on campus for the 2026-27 academic year should place their name on the 2026-27 Housing Waitlist.
Residential Life will contact students on the waitlist through their BingU email as we are able to offer housing. While we cannot guarantee housing, we are typically able to accommodate students looking for on-campus housing.
DO NOT COMPLETE THIS FORM IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A ROOM CHANGE. THE WAITLIST IS ONLY FOR STUDENTS WHO DO NOT HAVE A 2026-27 ROOM ASSIGNMENT.
New Fall 2026 first-year and transfer students should not place their name on the waitlist. The housing application for new and transfer students opens April 7, 2026, with room selection taking place in June.
