Katherine Paddick, LCSW

Background

Katherine Paddick is a lecturer in the Department of Social Work at Binghamton University. She earned her MSW from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, City University of New York, with a clinical concentration in children, youth, and families. She earned her BA in Spanish and International Relations from SUNY Geneseo. Her teaching emphasizes the integration of theory and practice across courses in generalist social work practice, psychopathology and psychopharmacology, and clinical practice with individuals, families, and groups. She also serves as a Field Liaison supporting students and community partners in field education.

Paddick is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and brings over a decade of clinical experience across school, community mental health, medical, and child welfare settings. She maintains a private psychotherapy practice and is a certified provider of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
