Pharmaceuticals Researcher Technician I/II/III/postdoctoral
Description:
A research Technician position is available in Dr. Zhang’s lab at Pharmaceutical Sciences Department at Binghamton University. The title and salary rate will depend on experience. Volunteer/for credit is welcome as well. Dr. Zhang’s lab focuses on translational research by combining in vitro assays and pharmacokinetic /pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) modeling software used in pharmaceutical industries and regulatory agencies to assess drug safety and efficacy.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will perform the following work and studies: Do cell culture and run cell permeability and transporter assays for small molecule drugs; Perform molecular biology assays such gene editing, real-time PCR, wester blotting, immunostaining; Perform quantitative HPLC and/or LC-MS/MS analysis of compounds in biological matrix; Maintain laboratory research records of all experiments performed, analyze data, prepare reports, presentations and publications.
