Background

Pamela Sandoval joined the Department of Teaching, Learning, and Educational Leadership as an Associate Professor in spring 2011. From 2005 to 2010, she served as an Assistant Provost for P-16 Education for the State University of New York System Administration. From 1990 to 2005 she served as Assistant and then Associate Professor, Associate Dean, Assessment and NCATE chair in the School of Education at Indiana University Northwest. She was a Research Analyst for the for the University of Wisconsin System Administration, and a Research Analyst for the Office of Research and Evaluation at Alverno College.She has extensive experience in program evaluation, assessment, accreditation, institutional research, public policy on issues of educational equity in a framework of sociology of education using empirical quantitative and qualitative methods.She has a B.A. from Mt. Mary College, an M.S. in Educational Psychology from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a Ph.D. in Urban Social Institutions (Urban Sociology and History) from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
