Biography
Congcong Miao is an assistant professor specializing in spatial data science and GeoAI. Her research focuses on integrating geographic knowledge and spatial reasoning into artificial intelligence to better understand human mobility and interactions with urban environments. She develops computational methods that capture spatiotemporal dynamics, incorporate human perceptions, and improve model transparency through explainable AI. Her work primarily centers on transportation systems, with broader applications in urban planning, public health, and data-driven policy.
