Binghamton Biomedical Engineers Society

The Biomedical Engineering Society's (BMES) student chapters are the foundation of the society, uniting and promoting the future of the biomedical engineering profession. For rising biomedical engineers, these chapters offer the chance to establish leadership, network, publish, and participate in a wide range of career-enhancing activities.

Membership in Binghamton BMES is highly interdisciplinary and open to any individual in the fields of engineering, technology, or management interested in applying or expanding their skill sets in the areas of biology, medicine, and healthcare. Learn more on the Watson Student Groups webpage

Alpha Eta Mu Beta Binghamton Chapter 

Alpha Eta Mu Beta (AEMB) is the national biomedical engineering honor society that recognizes and encourages excellence in the field. Through various professional, social, and community service events, members of Alpha Eta Mu Beta have the opportunity to grow and develop lifelong skills that prepare them for success in their future careers.

Binghamton University's chapter of Alpha Eta Mu Beta encourages participation in activities that can help members grow as leaders and as biomedical engineers, fosters supportive relationships between the students and faculty in the department, promotes professional development, and creates a unified Biomedical Engineering Department.
